Mera Networks is Selected to the 2008 Global Outsourcing 100
February 21, 2008, Nizhny Novgorod – MERA Networks, an Eastern Europe’s leader in Telecom software R&D
services, was selected in the Rising Stars category for the 2008 Global Outsourcing 100 - International Association of
Outsourcing Professionals' (IAOP) annual ranking of the world's top 100 outsourcing service providers. The Global Outsourcing 100
and its sub-lists are essential reference guides for companies seeking new and expanded relationships with the best companies in
the industry.
The judging was based on criteria of excellence in growth, customer experience, management capabilities and depth and breadth of
competencies. Rankings will be unveiled when the list appears in the May 5th issue of FORTUNE® magazine in a special advertising
feature produced by IAOP and will, along with a new series of sub-lists, be published on IAOP's website www.outsourcingprofessional.org.
The companies on this year's Global Outsourcing 100 list represent the elite of our field, hailing from every corner of the
globe and providing an extensive array of cutting-edge services. says Michael F. Corbett, Chairman, IAOP. The Global Outsourcing
100 list has become the definitive go-to resource that companies use to make better informed outsourcing decisions and comparisons
of providers, so it is an extremely valuable resource for both the players named on it and the businesses around the world that
use outsourcing services.
We are extremely proud to be selected for the second time to the Global Outsourcing 100 list. This prestigious award is a
vivid proof of the company’s excellence in delivering software development services and innovative solutions. says Igor Piruyan,
Vice President at Mera Networks. Earlier this month MERA was also named for the second consecutive year to the Global Services
100 list and included in the Top 10 Companies to Watch in Emerging European Markets category by Global Services and neoIT.
I believe that these recognitions yet again prove that Eastern Europe has won its well deserved title of a destination of choice
for software R&D services and obviously keeps reinforcing its leading position at a great pace.
