Regular ISO 9001:2000 Audit Passed Successfully

MERA is Keeping its ISO Certification up to Date Through a Second Regular Audit in 2005

December 27, 2005 - MERA Networks, a leading provider of telecom software consultancy services, announced that its Russia-based MERA NN R&D Division has successfully passed a regular audit by the Russian Division of BSI Management Systems to validate ISO 9001:2000 accreditation for its quality management systems.

This was the second follow-on external audit in the year 2005. The inspection was conducted by a leading expert of BSI MS Russia who has broad expertise in quality management for technology companies, had previously occupied top positions in the IT Industry and had never visited MERA Networks before. This demonstrates the general approach that BSI MS pursues invariably: audits are conducted exclusively by specialists that have relevant trade education and vast work experience in the Industry.

During the two-day survey, the auditor acknowledged that MERA’s quality management processes were compliant with ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard requirements. This came in tune with the previous reports by other auditors from BSI that demonstrated a high level of QMS implementation and maintenance at MERA NN R&D.

In the course of the year 2005, MERA’s QMS passed two regular surveillance audits for ISO 9001:2000 Standard compliance. Further, inspections will follow on a yearly basis.
