Antenna Measurements in Time Domain

     Use of the time-domain measurement method provides unique capabilities for antenna measurements. It consists in radiating short electromagnetic pulses in open space and registering the response of the tested antenna in a short time.

     Computer-aided processing of the registered response permits estimation of a number of characteristics of the examined antenna.

     Time and space location of the electromagnetic pulses yields material advantages of the technique over the conventional measurement methods:
  • High measurement accuracy despite the absence of echoless chambers
  • Measurement in a wide frequency band within a very short time
  • Complete measurement automation
